Warm Wednesday… NOT !!

I wish it was a warm Wednesday …lol But in true Oregon spirit we have had snow. Lovely warm spring February leads to trees blooming, Daffodils poking their heads up to the sun… Then it is cold again :d But that lovely little preview gets me excite for the weather that is coming. Chicks are in the feed and seed… the last group of lambs are being born, which this year I hope to get a few lambs… of course need Bantams a couple dozen of course A new gosling to join our little flock. The goose gets treated like a puppy and is loved on and sleeps in one of the kids room in a box by the bed. The gosling gets bounded to the child and make wonderful pets until they sexually mature… then they turn into aggressive butt heads for awhile…later mellowing back out and making great guard animals. No way anyone is invading our property not without lots of noise and believe me a 20 pound bird flying at your head is pretty scary. So Spring… well kind of… not really. but SOON
